This policy explains how Synerics Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd handles personal information when you visit this website or send us an enquiry. Synerics is the responsible party under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Information we collect and why
- Enquiries: we collect your name, company, work email and message to assess and respond to your enquiry, discuss possible services and keep a record of the correspondence. These fields are required to submit the form. Phone number, type of work and timing are optional. Please do not send sensitive personal information or confidential client records through the form.
- Website operation: our hosting services may record technical details such as your IP address, browser, requested pages, dates and errors to deliver the site, troubleshoot problems and protect it against misuse.
- Optional measurement: if you allow it, we use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand website usage. This can include pages viewed, visits, referral information, device and browser details, approximate location, cookie identifiers and a lead event after a successful enquiry. The lead event does not include your email, message, name, company or phone number. See our cookie notice and settings.
You can browse the site and contact us without allowing optional measurement. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to a marketing mailing list.
Grounds for processing
We process enquiries to take steps at your request before a possible contract and for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries. We operate and secure the website in our legitimate interests and retain records where required by law. Optional website measurement is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings.
Who receives information
Relevant Synerics personnel and service providers supporting our hosting, email and website operations may handle your information for these purposes. The site is hosted through Afrihost; enquiries are sent to our business email. If you allow measurement, Google receives information through its tags and processes it as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Service providers may process information outside South Africa. For such transfers, we will apply the safeguards required by POPIA, such as adequate protection under the recipient’s laws or binding agreements, or another permitted ground for transfer.
Retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, related business records, applicable legal requirements or resolving disputes. Retention depends on the type of information and the relationship involved. We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information; no website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you can request access to your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request deletion where appropriate, object to qualifying processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
